We are very happy to announce the latest addition to the 123 Technology team:
Cathy Farmer comes to us with a very impressive twenty years of experience installing, maintaining, and optimizing Windows servers, as well as managing those who do. Cathy most recently worked for a large financial institution in their efforts to comply with the technical aspects of the OTS/Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Cathy previously worked for Verizon for many years as a Tier III Intel Server Engineer. Within Verizon she supported the company’s largest and most mission-critical server infrastructure. She also worked with the company’s architecture team in developing the company’s first virtual server environment. Prior to Verizon Cathy worked in the legal industry for four years, working in detail with legal software Carpe Diem, PC Docs, and Knowledge Management solutions.
Her areas of specialty include installing, troubleshooting and optimizing networks and server systems. Cathy has worked with all versions of Windows Server since 1987, and has either implemented or managed the implementation of Exchange Server for corporate email, SQL Server databases, and, most recently, Microsoft’s Sharepoint Portal Server.
Cathy is one of the very few (and proud!) techies who not only understands the intricacies of Windows Server 2003, including Active Directory and Group Policy Objects, but manages these systems with thorough knowledge and great skill.
Cathy received her CNE Certification for Novell Networking in 1992 and her MCSA for Windows 2000 Server in 2002.
We’re very fortunate to have Cathy on our team, and she is a very welcome addition as we expand our efforts to support the SMB market.
Finally, as always, thank YOU for your continued support of 123 Technology. Our growth is dependent on our customers for whom we always strive to provide insanely great (to steal a line from Steve Jobs) service and support. Thank You.
